Introducing “Project Disha” – Revolutionizing IPM Chilli Farming

  • “Project Disha” is an innovative initiative spearheaded by Terraglebe Farmers Producer Company Limited, in collaboration with Nimadfresh FPO’s members, aimed at promoting Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in the chilli farming program. With a vision to usher in sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural practices, we embarked on this transformative journey with 62 dedicated farmers, covering an impressive 350 acres of land in its inaugural year. year.

  • Central to the success of “Project Disha” was our commitment to providing farmers with comprehensive support through a well-crafted Package of Practices (PoP). Armed with this knowledge, our farmers were equipped to optimize their cultivation techniques and embrace modern, eco-friendly methods.

  • Ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality, we offered an exhaustive list of approved molecules that adhered strictly to the regulations set by the United States (USA) and European Union (EU) norms. By strictly adhering to these guidelines, we not only safeguarded our produce but also demonstrated our commitment to sustainable farming practices.

  • At the heart of “Project Disha” was precise monitoring and diligent field testing. We diligently avoided the use of harmful chemicals, focusing on non-toxic alternatives, to create a conducive environment for the growth of healthy crops. Our farmers embraced these practices with enthusiasm, and the results spoke for themselves.
